Tips from Author Donna Jodhan Using A Hockey Game to Help Energize

Believe it or not, this is a technique that I sometimes use to help me marshal my thoughts and regenerate my imagination.
I almost always watch hockey games at night and whenever I find myself in the midst of a mini slump and if there is a hockey game on that I am interested in watching then bingo! I turn on my TV; flip to the channel where the game is being broadcasted, and then I sit there and allow the hockey game to do the rest.
You may be wondering how could this be and I'll share my little secret with you. The excited voices of the commentators plus the noisy crowds do it all for me and sure! If my favorite team is winning then this also helps to do the trick.
Several of my mysteries have been hatched while I have been watching a hockey game. I just find it so relaxing and productive to use this method.
So why not go out there and give this somewhat unique technique a try?
