Tips from Author Donna Jodhan - Waking Up The Brain Through Baking - Award Winning Sight Loss Coach, Advocate and Author Donna Jodhan

I have found that there is a very affective technique to help wake up the brain and it all has to do with the sense of smell. You would be amazed to know how the sense of smell can help to do such things as stimulate your creative juices, bring back some very buried memories, and help one's imagination to reach new heights.

Whenever I need to wake up my brain I often turn to baking and I use the sense of smell to help me complete the process. The sense of smell is not the only factor in this process. The physical activity of baking also has a part to play.

You see, this activity encourages the imagination to become creative for after all; when we bake we create don't we? Then everything else falls into natural line.

We bake and we imagine. We smell the results of our baking and we begin to imagine further, remember, and before you know it our brain is in full stimulation mode. It does not really matter what we decide to bake.

It could be anything from cakes and cookies to pies and casseroles. Beef roasts to pork roasts. Chicken pieces to large hams.

So why not go out there and give this strategy a chance to help you?
