Travel Diaries

Welcome to my Travel Diaries! Travel has taken me from England and the Caribbean to Hawaii, Quebec City and the rivers of Europe, and on most of my trips I carried a little recorder and kept a voice diary: what Mom saw out in the bay, what I heard from the balcony, the food, the people and the journey itself. Here are my trips, one diary at a time, from a winter chess break by Lake Windermere in 2014 to a cruise through Scandinavia and the Baltic in 2026.

I am blind, and for me every trip begins and ends with the journey: the airports, the trains and the help that arrives, or sometimes does not. That journey is what my podcast, Curb to Cabin Canada, is all about. Come along with me!
